HOW TO GET SENSITIVE TEETH WHITE

September 20, 2017

A question I often get is "How do you get your teeth so white"? My answer; "I was blessed with white teeth, jk!" A long time ago in high school I decided to use whitening strips, although it did help whiten my teeth, it was a horrible experience! It caused extreme tooth sensitivity, tasted disgusting, and the product went everywhere in my mouth because the standard teeth mold was too big.

I recently wanted to whiten my teeth but didn't want to go with just any brand; it had to be a well trusted one. I decided to partner with Smile Brilliant! Unlike the regular whitening strips at a store, Smile Brilliant is what a dentist would do but in the comfort of your own home, & without the large price. As soon as I got the package, the instructions were very clear & easy to understand. I followed it and made my impressions. I shipped it out and then they sent me teeth whitening molds that fit my teeth to the tee! The teeth whitening mold is a clear tray that is formed exactly to your teeth, it almost reminds me of retainers.

In the package it included teeth whitening gel & desensitizing gel. I put a small amount of the teeth whitening gel in the tray, then I dried my teeth, & placed the tray in my mouth. Super Easy! At first I was extremely nervous because I have very sensitive teeth & my previous experience low key scarred me. The instructions also say that if you have sensitive teeth, you can put coconut oil or Vaseline on your gum to help prevent sensitivity; it also said you can skip days, & recommends you use it for 45 minutes at first instead of 2 hours. I was cautious and only did the whitening for 45 minutes each session.

I was so excited to see the results! Little by little I noticed my smile getting brighter, like after 2 tries! Thankfully, my teeth had no sensitivity! I was SHOOK! (I also will restate that I took the steps that they recommended and it helped). The product does have a distinct taste, but not an unbearable gag taste as the grocery store whitening strips have. Overall, It is quality whitening without the huge expense of going to the dentist. I love that I could whiten my teeth at home while watching TV, reading, scrolling through social media, spending time with family, etc.

At first I was a bit skeptical if it would work because I already have decently white teeth (I think it's due to the fact that I don't drink coffee). I was very impressed at the difference it made! Above is my before & after picture. What do you think?! If you have been wanting to try it then I have great news, a GIVEAWAY! One of YOU will win a kit ($139 Value) for free!  I also have a $15 off any tray discount for you: (kaydelvalle15) so that you can save even more!
